As the title of the game suggests, this game is over after 205 clicks. If you haven’t already played this, I would suggest you go ahead and check it out. Especially since it is free and should only take you about 10 minutes to complete.
A game being short and quick to play through does not mean it is a bad game that doesn’t deserve your attention. On the contrary, in fact, many great games are fairly short but have some kind of quirk to them that allows for some novelty, such as the replayability in Tetris or a lovely story, such as this game will end in 205 clicks. Stitching to its name, the game ends after you have clicked 205 times, but within that time period, you learn so much about the world and the characters that it is shocking how short this game truly is.
In this game will end in 205 clicks you play as ROYAL the SUPERVILLAIN and watch as he monologues about his many encounters and struggles against the GIRLS, heroes of CITYVILLE. Listen to him rant about his outfits and parties he has gone to. Hear him complain about the many battles he has taken against the GIRLS and how he is in every episode. Watch as he is devastated by how he is unable to enact evil deeds despite completing his SUPER KINGLY WEAPON.
This is storytelling at its finest, and this visual novel allows you to hover over text to get a better insight into the world. Such as how one of ROYAL’s best friends might secretly have a crush on him. Or just how many episodes are within this hypothetical franchise. Without doing further research, you may find yourself thinking that this is just another installment in a long running series, but that is where you are mistaken; this is just a one off. Despite that, you grow to truly appreciate the storytelling and world building to the point where you feel like you know the world that this takes place in. From ROYAL complaining about past events and hinting about others to the opening, where you watch the GIRLS defeat him. Every aspect of the world feels lived in and complete.
